The USA made 575W Speed King Uncapping Knife contains a sealed thermostat in the blade and is ready-to-use right out of the box. It is pre-calibrated to just the right temperature for uncapping. Made of food-grade 304 stainless steel, this knife is 25cm long and 5cm wide, and features a comfortable turned wood handle that stays cool to the touch. It comes with an 2.4 metre grounded cord.

Uncapping Frame Bench for standard 15L, 20L, 22L Buckets

Make uncapping easy with this portable combcapper bench. It is used for removal of honeycomb cappings from Ideal, Manley, WSP and Full Depth frames.

Underside recessed arch provides added stability. Simply snap the rest on the rim of your standard 15L, 20L or 22L bucket and it stays in place to give stable support for your frames as the wax capping fall into the bucket.

We recommend using a 1500W steamer. Most beekeepers use a wallpaper steamer as a steam source for the knife, whereas some beekeepers use an old pressure cooker to boil water on a gas burner. (Steam hoses and hose connection hardware are not included.)

Uncapping Scratcher (Fork)

This capping Stainless-Steel scratcher or fork is very handy when uncapping your frames of honey. It facilitates the careful remove the thin layer of wax that covers the honeycomb. The Capping Scratcher is particularly useful for uncapping low spots on a frame that a knife just misses.
